Vendorah is BluEclipse Technologies' flagship business-solutions platform, built to help South African SMEs establish a professional digital presence, manage products and services, reach customers, fulfil orders, and complete protected transactions through one connected system.

It began with a simple observation: many capable small businesses are not being held back by the quality of what they offer. They are being held back by fragmented tools, limited technical resources, and a trust gap between unfamiliar businesses and new customers.

Vendorah was built to close that gap.

Today, the platform is available across web, Android, and iOS. It combines customisable business storefronts, product and service workflows, independent escrow, integrated delivery, analytics, marketing tools, vetting, transaction records, and dispute support in a system designed around how smaller businesses actually operate.

Vendorah is not simply a place where businesses are listed. It is the digital infrastructure that helps them present, operate, transact, deliver, and build trust.

Small businesses should not need six disconnected systems to operate online

For many independent businesses, operating online still means stitching together a collection of tools that were never designed to work as one system.

Social media handles discovery. WhatsApp handles enquiries. EFTs handle payment. A spreadsheet tracks stock. A separate courier website handles delivery. Bookings live in a calendar or message thread. If a customer disputes what was promised, the evidence may be scattered across screenshots, voice notes, emails, and private conversations.

This fragmentation creates work, but the deeper problem is trust.

A legitimate business can struggle to win a customer who has never heard of it. The customer may wonder whether the business is real, whether the product will arrive, or whether there is any protection if the service is not completed. The business faces its own risks: false payment confirmations, customers disappearing after work has been completed, unclear delivery responsibility, and disputes without a reliable record.

Large companies solve these problems with ecommerce teams, payment infrastructure, delivery contracts, customer-service systems, and established reputations. Most SMEs cannot justify that expense or complexity.

Vendorah brings those capabilities into one accessible platform.

Vendorah replaces fragmented processes with one connected business journey.

More than a marketplace

The word marketplace describes only one visible part of Vendorah: its shared network of products, services, stores, and local talent.

Behind that discovery layer, every participating business receives its own digital operating space. A business can create and customise a storefront, present its identity, publish products or services, manage availability, receive orders or requests, arrange fulfilment, communicate with customers, and review performance.

This matters because a business should not have to surrender its identity to benefit from a larger network. Vendorah allows SMEs to remain individually recognisable while making them easier to discover and safer to transact with.

The result is a web of local talent rather than a wall of anonymous listings.

For customers, Vendorah creates a single environment in which they can discover unfamiliar businesses with more context, structure, and protection. For businesses, it provides a professional destination behind the links they already share through social media, messaging, printed material, and physical events.

One connected platform across the business journey

Vendorah was designed around the full journey of running and transacting with a small business, not only the moment at checkout.

A professional business presence

Businesses can create customisable storefronts with business information, product and service catalogues, image galleries, external sharing, and dedicated pages that can be used as their online destination. Custom QR-code creation and promotional assets also connect physical stores, packaging, banners, flyers, and events to the business's digital presence.

Products and services

The platform supports regular products, on-request items, lead-time products, electronic goods, product variants, stock management, promotions, service listings, requests, bookings, capacity limits, lead times, and cancellation handling.

This allows Vendorah to serve a much wider range of SMEs than a conventional online shop. A retailer, artist, maker, beauty business, consultant, repair service, or appointment-based provider does not need to force its operation into the same rigid workflow.

Day-to-day operations

Businesses can manage orders, service requests, inventory, availability, promotions, communications, transaction states, and performance from one system. Email, push notifications, and in-platform updates keep customers and businesses informed as a transaction progresses.

Fulfilment

Courier delivery, merchant-managed delivery, and customer pickup are not treated as unrelated arrangements after payment. They form part of the transaction record, including quotes, handover confirmation, delivery events, and evidence.

Marketing and growth

Vendorah gives businesses shared discovery, link-based promotion, custom QR codes, promotional tools, featured visibility, and access to assisted Google Ads services. The aim is not only to put an SME online, but to give it practical ways to attract and convert customers.

Trust and accountability

Vetting, independent escrow, transaction histories, fulfilment evidence, behavioural controls, and dispute processes give both parties clearer expectations and a reliable record of what happened.

The connected capabilities within the Vendorah business ecosystem
The value of Vendorah comes from connecting tools that SMEs would otherwise assemble separately.

Trust should protect both sides of the transaction

Trust is often discussed as something a business must earn from a customer. In reality, online transactions create risk for both sides.

A customer should not have to send money directly to an unfamiliar seller and simply hope that the product arrives. A product business should not have to rely on a screenshot of an EFT before releasing an order. A service provider should not have to complete hours or days of work and then discover that the customer is unwilling or unable to pay.

Vendorah addresses this with TradeSafe-powered independent escrow.

When a protected transaction begins, the customer commits the transaction funds through the independent escrow process. The business receives confirmation that the funds have been committed before fulfilling the order or completing the service. Delivery, collection, store delivery, or service-completion information then contributes to the transaction record and its progression.

If the transaction proceeds normally, verified fulfilment and acceptance allow it to progress toward payout. If a legitimate problem is raised, the funds remain protected while the available evidence is reviewed through the dispute process.

For a product business, this provides confidence that the customer has committed payment before the item is dispatched. For a service provider, it reduces the risk of completing the agreed work and then being ignored. For the customer, it avoids the exposure of paying an unfamiliar business directly without a structured form of protection.

The important distinction is that Vendorah does not ask one party to accept all the risk in the name of trusting the other. It creates shared accountability.

How a protected transaction progresses

  1. The customer places an order or commits to a service.
  2. The transaction funds are committed through independent TradeSafe escrow.
  3. The business receives confirmation and fulfils the order or service.
  4. Delivery, collection, handover, or completion evidence is recorded.
  5. Acceptance or verified completion progresses the transaction toward payout.
  6. If a dispute is raised, the transaction and evidence are preserved for review.

Built for businesses that sell products and businesses that sell their time

Small-business commerce is not one-size-fits-all.

A retailer needs inventory, variants, promotions, product galleries, and delivery. A maker may only begin production after an order and must communicate lead time. An artist may sell a single high-value work. A service provider needs requests, availability, capacity, booking, cancellation, proof of completion, and confidence that payment has been committed.

Vendorah supports these different models within one platform.

For product businesses, the system includes conventional in-stock products alongside on-request and lead-time products, electronic goods, variants, stock controls, promotions, delivery, and pickup. A multi-business cart can preserve a convenient customer journey while separating each merchant's orders, fulfilment, transaction states, and records behind the scenes.

For service businesses, dedicated service listings and requests create a structured alternative to informal message threads. Capacity and lead times help providers avoid overcommitting. Booking and cancellation states clarify what is happening. Most importantly, protected payment commitment can give the provider greater confidence before completing the work.

Delivery is part of the transaction, not an afterthought

Vendorah's fulfilment infrastructure includes The Courier Guy, PUDO, and Aramex, alongside merchant-managed store delivery and customer pickup.

The purpose is not merely to place a list of courier logos at checkout. Vendorah connects fulfilment choices and evidence to the protected transaction journey.

A business and customer can select an appropriate fulfilment method, receive the relevant delivery information, and keep the transaction's progress connected to what occurs in the real world. For local store delivery and pickup, handover confirmation supports proof without requiring a national courier. For integrated courier journeys, delivery events can help progress the transaction without routine calls to Vendorah staff to release funds.

This creates a more streamlined experience while improving the quality of the evidence available if something goes wrong.

It also creates longer-term infrastructure value. The integration work behind multiple couriers can eventually support a separate business-to-business delivery orchestration service, allowing other companies to compare and use delivery options through one technical layer.

Engineering a multi-platform commerce and operations system

Vendorah was engineered by BluEclipse as an integrated platform, not assembled from a basic store template.

Its architecture must coordinate multiple businesses, customers, products, services, carts, merchant-specific orders, payments, escrow states, delivery providers, service completion, disputes, notifications, analytics, refunds, and payout records. Each customer-facing action can affect several operational and financial states behind the interface.

The core platform uses Next.js, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Firebase, Vercel, Resend, Capacitor, Google Maps, and AI-assisted listing validation. Firebase supports authentication, operational data, storage, automation, and push notifications. Capacitor allows the web product to extend into Android and iOS while retaining a shared body of product logic.

The technology names, however, are less important than what BluEclipse built with them:

  • A multi-business architecture that preserves individual store ownership and records
  • Product and service transaction models within one platform
  • Multi-merchant cart and order separation
  • Financial and fulfilment state progression
  • Independent escrow integration
  • Multiple courier integrations
  • Evidence-based disputes and handover confirmation
  • Merchant analytics, communications, and transaction records
  • Shared deployment across web, Android, and iOS

For a two-founder company, this breadth matters. Vendorah demonstrates BluEclipse's ability to take a complex commercial problem from product design through architecture, engineering, integration, deployment, and real-world operation.

Where Vendorah goes beyond standard ecommerce

Vendorah's innovation does not depend on one isolated feature. Its value comes from the way several difficult systems work together.

Delivery-linked transaction protection

Fulfilment events, collection confirmation, store-delivery evidence, and transaction states contribute to one connected record. This makes delivery part of the protection model rather than an unrelated step after payment.

Two-way protection for services

The customer receives protection against non-performance, while the provider receives evidence that the full payment has been committed before completing the agreed work.

Multi-merchant orchestration

Customers can discover and shop across a wider network while Vendorah maintains merchant-specific orders, fulfilment, communication, transaction, and payout records.

Shared discovery without erased identity

Each SME can retain a dedicated brand presence and shareable destination while benefiting from a larger network of products, services, businesses, and local talent.

Evidence-first dispute handling

Listing information, transaction states, communications, delivery events, and confirmation mechanisms create a stronger basis for resolving problems than an informal argument after the fact.

AI-assisted catalogue quality

AI-assisted validation can help assess listing inputs during creation, improving catalogue quality and identifying weak or problematic content before it reaches customers.

Taken together, these capabilities move Vendorah beyond ecommerce. They form a protected operating layer for SMEs.

Vendorah's defensibility lies in the integration of commerce, fulfilment, evidence, and trust.

Built, launched, and used in the real world

Vendorah is not a concept deck or an unreleased prototype. It is a live platform with businesses, users, transactions, integrations, public visibility, and cross-platform distribution.

As recorded on 28 August 2026, Vendorah had reached:

Operating metrics, recorded 28 August 2026
MeasureRecorded result
Vetted Businesses54
Total Registered Products4 300 +
Tracked page views14 000 +
Businesses involved during development34

These are early-stage figures, and they should be understood honestly. Gross order value is transaction value, not Vendorah revenue. The current commercial challenge is no longer whether a substantial platform can be built. It is converting more verified businesses into transaction-ready, paying, and repeatedly active users.

Vendorah's validation also extends beyond its internal metrics.

Founder-related News24 coverage generated more than 140,000 views, creating national awareness well beyond the company's George base. Vendorah was also selected as a finalist in the George Business Chamber's The Entrepreneur 2026 programme from a field of approximately 80 businesses.

The company has worked with businesses during development, integrated recognised transaction and fulfilment providers, launched on web, Android, and iOS, and progressed from product construction into focused commercialisation.

That combination provides a more meaningful signal than attention alone: the story has reached the public, the product exists, and businesses can use it.

The people behind Vendorah

Vendorah was created by two founders with complementary responsibilities.

Vendorah co-founders Mia Kuhn and Nathan De Jager
Commercial leadership and end-to-end technical execution.

Mia Kuhn, Co-Founder and CEO

Mia leads Vendorah's commercial strategy, partnerships, business development, media, marketing, finance, product direction, and relationships with participating SMEs. Her work connects the platform to the businesses, institutions, and public audiences it was built to serve.

Nathan De Jager, Co-Founder and CTO

Nathan is Vendorah's technical architect and sole developer. He is responsible for the end-to-end system design, application development, infrastructure, integrations, cross-platform deployment, and continuing technical operation of the platform.

Their combined roles allowed Vendorah to move from an identified small-business problem to a functioning product spanning web, Android, iOS, protected transactions, services, logistics, business tools, and live commercial activity.

From technical validation to commercial scale

Vendorah's next stage is focused on activation, repeat usage, recurring revenue, and a repeatable model for acquiring and onboarding businesses.

The commercial model combines transaction-linked income with recurring subscriptions and practical paid services. The current structure includes a free Standard entry point, Plus at R99 per month, Premium at R199 per month, assisted store setup at R49, and Google Ads assistance from R49 to R150. Premium currently carries an 11% protected transaction fee, while final Standard and Plus transaction-fee percentages are still being commercialised.

This diversified model allows Vendorah to earn both when protected commerce grows and when businesses subscribe to more capable operating tools. Assisted setup and advertising support can generate useful near-term income, while promoted placement and on-platform advertising become more valuable as recurring traffic grows.

Beyond the core platform, Vendorah's completed courier integration work creates the foundation for a future delivery orchestration API. That would allow third-party businesses to access courier configuration, quotation, and routing logic without rebuilding each integration independently.

The immediate objective is disciplined rather than speculative: help more SMEs become fully transaction-ready, create repeat protected transactions, improve conversion and measurement, and prove that the Vendorah model can be replicated beyond its initial base.

Vendorah's path from launched platform to national commercial scale
The next stage is converting installed capability into repeatable growth.
